Job Descriptions

Volunteer Coordinator:

As Volunteer Coordinator you are responsible for managing/distributing tasks to volunteers and assisting the site coordinator when needed. You will be asked to attend actions/events the PCJC organizes (subject to your availability). Before ending your term you must recruit and train someone to fill your position.

Special Events Coordinator:

As a Special Events Volunteer you will collect donations, and help prepare and execute events held by the PCJC. You will be encouraged to attend every action and event as you will assist in organizing them. These volunteers might assist in photography and filming as well (subject to applied skill).

Administrative Coordinator:

As an Administrative Volunteer you will be asked to create and update spreadsheets, create flyers, input data and proofread documents. It is necessary you have great organizational skills.

Front Desk Assistant:

The Front-Desk Assistant is the face of the center! You are responsible for greeting all visitors, answering calls, taking messages, responding to emails or inputting data if necessary.

Requirements:

  • 3 month commitment
  • Willing to provide at least 2-5 hours of service per week
  • Proficient in either Microsoft Word or Excel
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Genuine interest in helping others
